Last Thursday is a welcoming, inclusive and supportive event for anyone with an interest in photographing architecture, the built environment and place. It takes place on the last Thursday of the month except where stated. Please always check our calendar/socials before travelling!
It’s the ideal opportunity to connect with like-minded photographers, make new friends and share your work and interests. Even if you aren’t showing your work, it’s a chance to support others, find inspiration and have fun.
All types of photography and creative approach are welcome, at all stages of development. But we ask that there must be some relationship with architecture, place and/or the altered landscape.
Hosted at Gareth Gardner Gallery in London SE8, it’s easy to access with excellent local transport links from across London and beyond.

Share and share alike
You are encouraged to bring along your work to share with others. We will do our best to accommodate as many people as possible in each session.
Show your support!
Don’t worry if you don’t want to share your work, please join in and support others!
Your 15 minutes of fame
We offer a limited number of 15 minute slots where you can share your work and gain feedback. Everything from a few images to complete projects are welcome.
Prints are charming
We love prints! You can spread your work out on our large table, allowing everyone to explore your work.
Let’s put on a show
If you don’t have physical prints (did we mention how much we love real prints???) we also have a digital projector. Please note that the quality of projected image might not meet that of physical prints. Just saying.
No money, no worries!
It’s totally free to attend, but please book online so we can keep track of numbers and schedule those participants who want to share their work.
Kindness is everything
Be kind, offer constructive criticism and help to ensure that everyone comes away feeling uplifted. We want to encourage all our visitors to take photographs and create their own work.
Expert witnesses
Photographer/curator Gareth Gardner will be on hand, along with other members of the gallery’s guidance group to provide feedback and ensure the evening runs smoothly.
Thirsty work
Fancy a drink? Please bring your own refreshments. We also have a variety of outlets nearby where you can purchase beverages. Our recommendations are Villages Brewery Taproom, Hop Burns & Black bottle shop and Tony’s Daily.
After party
After each session, we move across the road to Villages Brewery Taproom for drinks and further chat. Everyone is welcome!
